Yeah, the hood scoop is faded and the clear coat on the roof is taking the toll. My wife wont let me put our baby in a hot car so she gets the other side of my man cave. its for a good cause.

Good idea. Ill have to run the California car duster over it each time so the dust wont scratch it.

Much better :yes thats the way to do it. I was looking at cheap clear disposable covers on ebay. They are like $20 shipped and I was just going to use it in the garage to keep the dust off :D
Im always worried about them scratching the paint from putting them on and removing them so much

Lowering the handle on my short throw a notch.
Also my shift light re-positioning. It lights up the "cabin" or "cockpit" pretty well down there at night. works well without blinding me -lol

Where they used gears? If so, you're better off getting new anyway.. less change of gear whine.

Actually, they were new in the box "Genuine gear" 410's. The box didnt have any description and the guy swore up and down that they were for a ford 8.8. I counted the teeth and they were in fact 410's. The only difference was the bolt pattern was way off on the ring gear. My buddy has built rear ends for 10+ years, and we checked everything out. Turns out the axle shaft bearings are pitted too, So I ordered new Alloy USA shafts and Ford racing 373's.
