Thinkin of swapping my '99 side scoops for Terminator scoops or Bullitt deletes

the first ones are 01-up GT and Cobra scoops while the second set are Bullits

no need to remove the interior to get to them as they just pop off.

I'd like to switch to the bullitt scoop deletes but I can't justify spending that much on them. I'd rather put that money towards suspension mods or go fast parts.

Yeah I'm thinkin the same thing. They are a bit pricy. How about the '01 up GT vs the Terminator scoops. Look the same???

Put a kind of thing rag over the screw driver first, then use it to pop the scoops off (or whatever else you might need to pop off). It softens the sharp edges of the screwdriver so it's less likely to cause damage.

There's really cheap sets of prying tools that are made of plastic. Less than $20 I think. Otherwise just do what mcqueen said with the rag, and just be careful. Taking your time will pay off and take an extra like 5 minutes.

Don't take my word for it, but I think the 01+ GT side scoops and the termi side scoops are the same. Again, I'd just leave on the ones you had until you found a good deal on bullitt scoops. Or be really awesome and fab up some of your own :yes

I wasn't joking when I said to fab your own. Wouldn't be that hard to make a little delete plate if you have some fabrication skills.

The best looking side scoops I've ever seen were custom pieces that resembled a mach scoop, but a little different.

I'll be damned, here ya go. See how it's basically just a delete fabbed right onto the car, instead of inserted? Kinda like the s197 sides

I think I prefer the larger scoops. IMHO I just think the car looks kind of weird with the deletes in those pics. Were all the bullits like this? I don't think I have ever noticed that before. I knew the cpillars were diff.
