Hey guys so I am swapping my turbo on my 7.3 Powerstroke and was wondering if I could use it on my mustang. Its a garrett gt 38 turbo with the following specs:

hot side:
.84 A/R
72mm inlet
70 mm outlet
internal wastegate

cold side:
1.00 A/R
67 mm inlet
62mm outlet

I could totally be off, but i think that it can be made to fit.

I know I'll have to modify a bit but my car is already set up for a turbo/sc so if I have my spare from my truck why not?;

NO, you want to put a 84 mm on a mostly stock motor, that turbos for 800+hp get a 67 or 70mm

The turbo is a 72/62

woops, I was still sleeping sorry yes but i think you would need a different flange then what comes in the kits.

Being that it isn't a t3/4/6 style mount, I have a feeling it would be easier to pick up a better specd turbo with a more universal mount.

I've often thought about this too. Sounds like it could be an interesting project! If you don't mind fabricating your own mounts/duct work that is.

Just throwing this out there but it's not really as simple as just "throwing a turbo on". I'm currently in the middle of collecting parts for my turbo build and it adds up quickly.
