Is anyone out here running a F-150 throttle body? They are supposed to be 70 mm. I've just picked one and a crown vic plenum. Which is a .5 inch taller. Just wondering what kind of gains have been seen with this setup.

I'm surprised no comments here, this forum must be full of catalog junkies. What happened to old school Hot Rodding.

this aint really old school hot rodding. and short of heads/cams/intake/boost/juice - nothing really makes an appeciable difference on these 2v cars. good luck though. btw - stock throttle body 5.4 f150 size is 69mm.

I read about it on a crown vic forum, so it's like most other bolt-ons. It just won't cost me anything. A 5hp gain is better than nothing.

nice find.... i like your enthusiasm regarding the old school hot rodding theory.... awesome idea.

but 5 hp is not likely.... what is more likely is more crisp throttle response especially up top
