I am getting a some ticking that sounds like valve train clatter after the engine warms up. It's only on the driver side and only when at operating temp. I have re-torqued all rockers, checked header bolts, and checked timing. Can't figure out what it is.

It's a stock bore 302 with fresh rebuild. Molly rings, new bearings, oil pump, the works. Mods should be in signature.

Let me know what you think and you're similar experiences.

I agree with it being valve train. It's not "pew pew pew" enough to be exhaust (IMHO). Did you re use your lifters?

Yea, I did reuse a set with low run time but cleaned all of them and checked them. Would a lifter issue show it's face after warm up?
