But I need a little help picking one out. I plan on just doing bolt ons for my Mustang. No boost or juice. I basically just want a DD with a little more balls than a stock sixxer. From what I've read around here I'm staying away from Spec Stage 1. I was looking around LMR and found a clutch kit that's supposed to be Oe (Mustang 94-04 Clutch Kit, 3.8L 11" - Oe Replacement by Ram at LRS - Same Day Shipping!). Now I'm curious if this is going to be able to handle what full bolt ons will throw at it (very few hard launches, no racing) or should I really look into a clutch that can handle a little more? Also, anyone know of any sites that sell and oem throwout bearing for the 3.8L? (I can find plenty of 4.6L TOB from Ford Racing lol)

I've just heard a lot of bad things about Spec Stage 1. If I go with Spec it will be Stage 2. But I also don't want to go for overkill and spend way more than I need to since this car is going to be my DD.

So I'll probably go with the stock clutch then. Is the TOB that comes with the clutch kit I linked any good? Or should I keep looking for one directly from Ford?

Thanks for the link, I haven't decided if I'm going to tackle this project or let a professional do it :p

Alright, I'll try using the TOB from the kit and see how it goes. And yeah the first problem I had with this car was the TOB. I was going to ride it out longer than I have but the pressure plate is now going out so I gotta get a clutch kit and install it soon.
