okay i have stock manifolds and a upr o/r X and now the cars is supercharegd with a vortech v1 my question is i have mac dumps right now but it doesnt sound mean what would be a mean sounging set of dumps ?

with an x pipe i think bassani and borla cat backs sound great. Although i have basically a stock gt and with headers, bassani x pipe and mac cat-back mine sounds really mean and throaty

the best thing to do is to search different set ups on you tube and you can find one exactlly how u want

ya i have had alot of exhaust set ups in the past year and my 2 favswould have to be headers (of coarse), o/r x pipe and borla stinger cat-back

and the other set up i like is with an o/r h pipe and the bassani cat back

Well dumps are always going to sound louder than not, but I personally couldn't handle one. It would get annoying fast. If you want a deep sound with a lot of popping noise, Borla Stingers will do just that. If you want loud and raspy, get SLP Loud Mouth IIs. If you want a more refined sound, get Bassani catbacks. I'm sticking with my Bassani Catted-X and Borla Stinger catbacks. My car is N/A and it sounds like a beast! As soon as I get my ProCharger installed, I don't think I'll be able to hold a conversation in my car, it's hard enough already!
