After my DOT stamp on the side wall of my tire I have the numbers "FD91011". I can assume that tire was built on the 9th day of january of 011 ?

Thats funny...

If you contact the MFG they can tell you what the dates is on them.

I know with Hoosier its a rather messed up code, but they would tell you what they all meant.. Sometimes they would get piss about it, because they didn't want to screw there dealers and have them get stuck with old tires because no one wanted to buy race tires that sat all winter. But I don't see why they wouldn't help you out on this.

its the last 4 in the dot number it self. first two are what week then the next 2 are what year. if its 3 digits its from the 90's
