Hell yeah they will last longer than a summer. Ive done a number of burnouts and have had them on since december and they are still fine.

Ive never had the 555, but right now i'm running 4X NT05; 275 front 295 rear. I'm really happy with them. When I dropped my car I took it up to get it re-aligned on the stockers (245, 451 falkens) and I spun 2nd without purposely trying to; normal shift with the 05's.

Also merging on to one route from another, I'd max at 60ish before and afterwards Ive gone around it at 70-75 and still feel like I could go faster. Keep in mind though that this isnt a DR; but it should last much longer.

I've already put about 7,000 miles on my DRs, and they still have plenty of tread. No burnouts, but a few little *spirited* takeoffs. Love em!

I've got 285/40 in the rear and 265/35 in the front. I would prefer a little wider in the rear, but the ones now do not stretch or bulge, so that is good. They are the nt555's and on my last set of fronts I got 40,000miles on the rear I got about 25,000. They hook just fine on the street.

wouldnt plan on more than 10k miles with a 555r. id get nt05s if i were you or 555s and just get a set of mickeys for the back on different wheels. 555rs are alot of fun but they dont last long, there expensive, and dont hook nearly as well as other drs. but for a dd its easily the best dr.
