Hey guys, Installed my new clutch today, pictures of the old TOB tomorrow. What I really need is that my new TOB is rattling when you are not on the clutch pedal. If you press it in just like an inch, it goes away. Do I just have to tighten the pedal? Its the stock quadrant and cable, so do it just like it says in the haynes manual? Or did I mount the TOB wrong? The clutch is smooth and nice, it shifts great. Just dont know what to do about the rattling.

yes you should try to adjust the cable before it ruins the tob. i learned the hard way. but i also bought the new quadrant and cable after and the rattle went away. my tob still squeals though :/

Well the good news is that it was not the TOB! the clutch fork was hitting the dust cover just slightly. Lucky we started the car to see what it sounded like with the dust cover off before we pulled the tranny!
