Today i tryed to top out my car and it wouldnt go past 130 i hate our 5th gear..it pulls hard untill 5th wear it just boggs like a mother ****er and wont move...u think 4.10s will help????

ya that doesnt seem right to me. i have the 5 speed auto in mine, but i was able to get mine all the way up to 147mph when it was still governed at that speed.

I've gotten up past 130 in my manual already, it was pulling just fine at 130 as I passed the camaro I was racing. Then again, I had it down in 4th and was just dropping it to 5th at around 140 when I slowed down. That was all bone stock.

I went from 80-125 in fifth gear on the highway and my car is bone stock :dunno

do this, take it to the dealer and tell them that everytime you get to 130 the car runs outta steam, tell the freaking tech to get in the car and you will show him what you mean. Just to see the look on their faces try it. seriously though i assume you got a GT and it should easily break 130.

WTF? I hit 155 rather easy, with some mods. Stock i hit 145 no problem, with plenty of revs left in 5th.

Yhall are pussies! JK. Seriously though. I drive to my base at around 4 in the morning and I hit 140 plus all morning. I cruise at about 110.

Yeah something is def jacked up. I hit 133 in 4th till I hit ice. With CAI and tune.

DAMN that is fast! I am all about making lots of noise at a stop sign! I have never gone above 110 mph with mine. I am sure it will go faster!

i think the problem is that your doing it in 5th gear..do it in 4th

I do it in 5th... If I am accelarating moderately maybe shift at about 90-100 in 4th, then hit 5th the rest of the way. Balls to the wall WOT bet your ass red line.

to answer your questions, NO, 4.10's will not help your top speed. they are better for accelerating quicker, rather than hitting a higher top speed

no its not a v6 its an 06 gt with intake exhaust u/d pullies and custom tune.it gets to 130 like its noting but then i have to shift in to 5th cause 130 im at 6500rpm and 5th dosent do anything it just stays ther

What gears do you have?

Cause with 3.55 @ 6K RPMS in 4th you should be @ 134mph

3.55s any tire rim combo is 305/35r20 does that have anything to do it with it
