eh if your just looking short term, I would tape the **** out of the car, sand a square and primer it. Then paint, when your done painting first coat or two take off tape and try to blend the last (should be thinnest) coat. Then clear coat and you have yourself a mediocre paint job. Dont expect the do it yourself to ever look good without redoing a panel and having professional equipment and know how.
