First off a BIG THANKS go out to Wes and Benjy at TPS (Total Performence Solutions) since they did an awesome job on the car.

They installed my FB Performance 4STB-E I bought from Forensicsteve and Friday night we put a tune on it and raced it last night. It preformed flawlessly when driving and at the track. So here is the new numbers:

1st Run with new setup, It blew the tires away off the line and got out of it and short shifted into 2nd gear at 100' mark.
60' - 1.788
330' - 4.700
1/8 - 7.000 @ 109.27
1000' - 8.959
1/4 - 10.621 @ 136.70

2nd Run, It blew the tires away and short shifted into 2nd before 60' mark and had to get out since it kept burning out.
60' - 1.839
330' - 4.734
1/8 - 7.030 @ 109.15
1000' - 8.997
1/4 - 10.667 @ 136.08

3rd Run, Blew tires away and short shifted into 2nd gear and had to get out of it since it hit rev limiter.
60' - 1.795
330' - 4.864
1/8 - 7.174 @ 108.93
1000' - 9.139
1/4 - 10.806 @ 136.43

Last Run of night was hot lapped. Blew tires away and short shifted into 2nd at 100' mark and it did not burn out in 2nd.
60' - 1.761
330' - 4.515
1/8 - 6.747 @ 108.79
1000' - 8.677
1/4 - 10.329 @ 137.74

It pulled 4 degrees of timming on top end since IAT was 150* on the last run.

I have installed some Bogart D-10's with 275/60/15 Mickey Thompson Drag Radials but the track prep was horrible and never got a clean launch. All runs I left at idle and didn't get to try out the transbrake.

Hopefully Wednesday I will load the Race tune and see about getting a true slick on it to see what I can do. I still have stock shocks in the rear but I have a set of Koni Adjustables to try.

Who has used a Koni Shock? I got these at an awesome deal but never read or heard anything about people using from drag racing. Debating on trying them or just may order some QA-1's.

Well done sir. So glad the 4r worked for you. Makes a big difference having a TPS tune... and you know Wes's mustangdyno numbers are way way conservative compared to some dynojets.

You get some appropriate tires and use the transbrake...you're mid to upper 9s with the same power. Do plan on upping boost?

Do you think NPR will let you run again without going tubular?

I think I'm going to stick with 18-21 psi since the 21 psi pulley is maxxing out the little 2.6H. Hopefully with a slick I can load the race tune instead of running 21 psi street tune.

TPS is checking on a 10 point chromeoly with swing outs that will be custom made by Mad Man Racing. He is the guy that will be redoing your cage Steven.

Actually it is just as fun with auto since it is a full manual valve body so I still have to shift it.

I don't know the rules but I sure hope I don't need a license for a street car ;)

NHRA rules say cage at 135 mph... yea that would suck to have a street car that requires a NHRA license... for the strip...
but it is a two speed isn't it?

A 3 speed with Lock Up Converter and Overdrive. I drove the car Friday night for 3 hours with Wes (The Tuner) and at 70 mph in overdrive with cruise control set it was just like having the 5 speed in it.
