Car is currently sitting at 488rwhp with 4:10s...traction is there but I can tell if I upped the power at all, the car would struggle. I am ordering the 305/30 nitto dr's to help cope with the traction though. Anyways, I dont want to have this steep of a gear ratio when I'm pushing 570+rwhp through a twin screwed stroker motor. So I have heard the TR6060 "reduces" the gear ratios...as in 4:56 on a tr6060 is equivalent to roughly 4:10s through a tr3650. Is this true? What would my 4:10s "reduce" to?

do you already have the 6060? I went with a built 3650 with a bunch of upgrades it was only 2000 and no extra stuff needed... just a bunch stronger... I was thinking about the 6060 but didn't want to deal with the issue your asking about... I will watch to see what peeps say.. car is looking good !!!!!

the tr6060 will work to my advantage as far as "reducing" my gear ratio...ideally, I would want to run between a 3:55-3:73 ratio with the new power I will be making

high first gear for building boost, other gears close to keep it high.

rebuilt mine w/ ht gears and .50 ratio 6th ;)

There is a rod to leave out which allows for high rpm speedshifting.

I couldn't imagine 1st being any shorter. I am running 373's and it seems like I am shifting to 2nd at 100'... I don't know how 600rwhp will effect that but it won't make it any easier! where are you headed RWHP wise Mickey?

5th: 0.80
6th: 0.63

2nd: 2.000
3rd: 1.320
4th: 1.000
5th: 0.620





In first and second since they are higher then the 3650. which is where i guess you want it to feel reduced. Every where it seems like it would be the same, fifth would be stout.

Im not sure what math is used to come up with 4.56 to 4.10. But I guess 1st is .40 higher so it would be like 3.70s in first and like 3.88s in 2nd and like 4.10s in 3rd and 4th and like 4.28s in 5th and like 4.10s in 6th?????? then again that could be the wine talking.

That works out perfect if its all correct! I want longer 1st and 2nd gears and would love to keep 3rd and 4th like they are...its gonna take me a few months to save for this tranny too...probably place the order in january, maybe december if im lucky

I'd get 4.10's or 4.30's and call it a day... double overdrive ftw...

never mind you got 410's.. haha well, keep them or get 4.30's... 3rd and 4th will pull like a ape with that linear boost line...

4.10's feel like 3.55's w/ TR6060

Dont waste $$ on the driveshaft nor the GT500 shifter... and PM me if you have any trouble w/ clutch.
How is money wasted on the driveshaft? its an aluminum one-piece that weighs half of my stock two-piece...

Yes, everything else being the same, you will be in 1st and 2nd longer with a TR6060 than with the 3650.

Like Chad mentioned, it is to help build boost.
