I haven't posted in a while. But here are a few pics someone took while i was at the track last saturday. The white truck slept at the light. I think he was trying to build boost. It is turbo charged and passed me later down the track.

I ran crappy. Managed a 13.1 in the 1/4 @ 104 and 8.4 in the 1/8. Couldn't get the car to hook for some reason and i run slicks. I've been 12.7 in the 1/4 and 8.0 in the 1/8 before. Have to find out where my power went.

1.8 sixty. Usually see low 1.7's

well i think people look too much into how fast their cars are and if its not 10 or 11 seconds its slow. 13.1 is roughly a second and a half faster than a stock 5.0, which is a pretty long time on a drag strip!

i dunno man when i first drove a stock 5.0 i was like.. hell yea this thing is fast, i must buy it!! haha so to me, low 13's is a decent time!

Your are moving 144 ft a second at 100MPH so a 1 second difference is at least 9 car lengths. That's not a perfect calculation because you are both accelerating differently and crossing at different speeds but it gives a rough idea.
