Traction Control problem...

On the GT i just bought, the traction control will not work. The button is illuminated but no matter if u press it or not, nothing. Where should i start to track down the problem?

has it been turned off by a tuner?

not that i know of, the guy that had the car before me didnt do much to it except screw it up...

Who needs Traction Control?

I don't even have that option

Check your abs wires on the rear wheels.

Is your ABS light on, mine does this sometimes and i think it's a wheel speed sensor messing up. I haven't fixed it yet cause i turn TC off anyway whenever i drive.

yes actually the ABS light is on...the guy that had it before me said that he thought he may have messed the sensor up when he replaced the rear end gearing

Wheel sensor. If the wheel sensor isn't operating correctly, ABS & T/C won't work and will be disabled.
