So i bought a high mile 94 GT last night that has been previously wrecked but repaired poorly, painted with a spray can matte black. Paid $1000 so $700 ish US.

I was offered a trade for a 100k mile 2012 f150 complete coyote engine that lost 15 psi of compression on cylinder 7, yes 7 not 8.

Im allowed to keep the front bumper and fenders off the GT, aftermarket stereo deck and cold air intake. I have a buyer for the bumper and fenders for $700 when I include a bunch of other parts I got for free (crash bar, headlights, hood , etc)

So id have about $4-600 depending on what I can sell stuff for into this coyote.

Im thinking I can sell the coyote as is for about $2k US maybe more

What do you guys think

I would have to make a 4 hr 1 way drive to do this deal.

Running F-150 coyote engines go for about $2000

Hmm. That's quite a bit lower than I thought.

Considering rebuilding and swapping the black car.

I still think it's worth it even if it needs rebuild. It would cost me $500. Worse case I'm sure I can unload it for more here. The guy had it listed for $1800 and people were interested but he wants my car more than cash to rebuild a fox.
