It looks like it's leaking where the tailshaft and driveshaft meet? Theres transmission fluid slung around the end of the driveshaft.

It was fine before I had my clutch installed. VERY disappointed in the shop who installed my clutch. Already had it back because the clutch was making a horrible noise hitting the clutch fork...

Any advice for this? Is there a seal around there that could be leaking?

just sounds like the rear seal. not a big deal

Yea, I found a thread on changing that seal. Looks like all I have to do is drop the drive shaft, pop out the old seal and throw in a new one. No big deal. This is GREAT news because I do not want that shop touching my car again.

Yup, easy fix. A new seal is like $5-10 at your local parts store too.

Looks like the seal cost $25 for a 5 speed :\ only $5.99 for the autos...-.-

Thanks for the help guys. I'm just happy it wasn't worse. And happy it's something I can do myself Friday. I HATE having other people work on my car.

I have the same problem but mine is leaking really slow.

My question is once you take off shaft, how much trans fluid will pour out the rear?
