Car is a 2003 gt conv 5 speed 56000 miles. I am a camaro guy..Have a 94 z28 with a 396 stroker, but the wife loves these mustangs and i admit they are growing on me. lot more room in the engine compartment than the maro. Anyways the only thing i dont like is how the vert rattles and feels overall sloppy. I put subframes on my z with t tops and that made a world of differance, but this thing looks like it has sfc from the factory. Although they look chintsy. Should i cut them off and weld in some good ones or put a strut brace in it or what? Thanks, Glenn

Yeah the stock ones are flimsy, you can weld some in.

The stock ones are bolted in and are complete junk. Remove them and weld in the full length subframe connectors. I think you will find that it will make a world of difference.

I am installing Maximum Motorsports XL Full Length Subframe Connectors and Strut Tower Brace this coming week in my convertible. I am with you when you say these things are flimsy, these two mods will stiffen up the chassis like a 18 year old at a strip club with a bottle of Viagra.

Knew that one was coming....thanks for the input. Everybody seems to like the mm sfc. They are pretty reasonable priced too. Throw those on next weekend see what they can do.
