My SCT tuner is telling me that it is timing out. I have the fan fuse and fuel pump fuse taken out. I have the tuner plugged in with nothing on. It then tells me to turn the key to the "on" position but do not start. I then do that and then it comes up with the message. Timed Out.

what is wrong? and What should i do?

i bought it used, in great condition though. It is a SCT Strategy Flasher 9415

so just disconnect the neg cable and then try it?

OK......so i disconnected the negative as you said. I then reconnected it and tried it again. It will read it if i have the fuel pump and fan fuse in though. So Can i flash my car with those 2 fuses in or not? That seems to be the only way from my angle
