you can get a tune for whatever octane you wish to.

with a higher octane you will get more power though.
Feel free to click my sig and read up.
Any other questions you have I'll be happy to answer.

you can have more than one tune so when you're going to the track or think you might get in a race you can use the higher octane tune (just make sure you have the right gas in the car) or if you're just driving you can use the 87 octane tune

just under $4.00 a gallon here in NJ :)

that would be if you put a 91 tune on as stock motor.
since you have mods you would see more HP than that if you went with the 91.

91 octane is only a dime more than regular.
that's $1.30 extra per tank of gas with a 13 gallon tank.
lets say you do 15k miles in a year.. that's about 55 tanks of gas.
you spent an extra $71.50 for the entire year to bump your octane.
It's worth the extra power in my opinion.

ya gas is for 91 is like 20c from being $4
so if i did the 91 octane i would 11rwhp and 15ft/tq?
what would be my gains with the 87 octane or 89?
oya i uselly fill up my stang every 6 days to week or so.

You would probably gain more ( not much more) since you already have mods if you use 91. as for the 87 I don't know.. most people don't ask about the 87.. I don't tune the cars personally .. Joe at Trick Tuners does so he would probably know.

the tunes from trick tuners are NOT canned tunes.
they are custom to your car.
in my sig click the "data logging " part of it :)

k i'm thinking about the 91 octane now. :)
but say like the the 91 octane on the stock tunes that come with it will i still get those gains of 11 rwhp etc.?

o ya say i got that tune with the 11 rwhp 15ft/tq remember that vid u saw of me racing my buddies accord and we tied the first race? well if i got that tune would there be a different outcome with the tune?

I don't remember the vid honestly so I don't know how bad ya got beat.. considering your car is an auto though I would say you would probably beat him though. Auto mustangs wake up a lot better than the 5 speeds.

. lol
on a bone stock GT of your year if you add the 91 octane tune you will see those numbers.
like I said.. you have mods though so you might see a hair more.

you can only use it on one car or another but not on both. :)

btw if you buy an xcal through trick tuners you get 2 years of free retunes :)

it's something like that.

you would give him the code off your computer ( in you kick panel)
he would write a base tune for your mods/car and send you the tuner.

you would put the tune in your car AND THEN you would data log the information from the ecu onto the xcal (easy I promise..not as hard as it seems) and from there you would upload that info to your computer and e-mail it to joe.

joe would write another tune ( this one is the custom one)and email it back to you
.
you from there hook up your xcal to your computer ( just a usb cord which is included) and get the new tune from your computer and upload to the xcal.
from there plug it into your car and download the new tune from the xcal into your car and your good to go.

it's noticable but the custom tune is better than the canned tune.

the custom tune is included for free man.
hmm probably do that
cause like i live in irvine so like does he sell the stuff in his shop?
and like can he do that stuff on the spot?

sryy about this question but like if i got his custom tune do u think my car would be able to kill a z from a dig?
