navy...why are you worried about the resale of a turbo car...a car doesn't go down in value cuz you change it to a turbo setup. i'm speaking from experience as i tend to buy and sell cars often as a hobby. turbo cars have spectacular resale!
I'm not selling my car. I have long tube headers that would need to come off, with my whole exhaust system. Also I have 4.10's waiting to get installed, those would have to get sold. And then install the stock exhaust just to chop it up more. And I already had to chop the stock cat back pipes to make the LT's work....

I would love a turbo, but I am setup for a centri right now.

I thought centris and turbos had very similar power curves... outside of the exhaust, I don't get what else you'd have to change to prep the rest of the car for one or the other.
No way. The blowers are similar in vane design on the air side, but the turbo gets up much quicker than a centri. Figure max boost from about 3500 to redline with a turbo and max boost with a centri is max rpm.

I would have to sell the 4.10's and all of my exhaust. Then probably, not get the suspension setup I want.....

No sir on the 4.10's
You want load on a turbo car, no load= no go
4.10's are going to make loading the car up a pain, noticeable lag increase with those gears. Stock 3.31's are great.

It's hard to plan the raw torque jump you get. And yea on low boost you can make good power. 6psi is enough for over 400 to the rear.

thats awful narrow minded... that turbo will load up plenty well.... I had 4.10's in my stang.

Has anyone actually tried 4.10's with one of the turbo's these kits come with???

as far as I know, they use turbonectics units... and I think they are nothing more than tc60 t4 units.... I would keep the 4.10's and go with a .81 exhaust housing....

my 4.6 still got awful "loaded" up with 4.10's... at least the datalogging said I did....

This is not supporting which gear is better, just reporting what we used on the car that had very little street use with last build and now none. Also, car was launching with t-brake and 2 step, on a 4r70w (sold to and enjoyed by 05mustang_kb_charged)

We had 4:10s on our turbo car, only because they were installed when car had a Procharger and hungry for rpms. Over time as trap speed increased, we had to go to a larger and larger tire diameter to offset the 4:10s (running out of rpms). On this present build, car has 3:50s.
