I have a 2007 mustang GT and was cleaning the engine bay when i saw what looks like a bolt missing from the valve cover. If you are looking at the motor from the front of the car, the left side valve cover is the one in question. there are 5 bolts on the bottom side of the valve cover, but mine looks like it is missing one unless there isnt supposed to be one there. The one is question is the one of two in the middle. i have a hole there with nothing in it.
I looked on the other side, and it has a different pattern. Could someone let me know if i am missing a bolt on the left side valve cover? Thanks!

These motors originally had more bolts holding them on, I think like 14 or something like that. But later models were only held on by 10 (I think). But the head casting didn't change so it looks like there are bolts missing.
