Hi Guys. I'm still chasing issues with this 02 V6. I am getting P0443 code. I pulled the vapor canister vent solenoid and although it closes when 12 volts is added, it leaks around the electrical connector. Should they be leaking there? It doesn't seem like it should, but since they are expensive, thought I would check to be sure.

I replaced the solenoid but still getting the P0443 code. Going to perform a smoke leak detection on it next to check for vacuum leaks.

It could be a quality problem.

Here is a great update. I checked the purge solenoid under the pass. fender. Of course it was bad. Replaced it and that fixed it. No more codes and she runs as good as any v6.
