Just finished installing my CAI and downloaded the new tunes. running the 93 race tune from bama it really rips now. Before with just the tune i was a little disapointed, but with the new tune and addition of the air raid CAI the throttle response is instant and blows the tires off thru 3rd gear. I am going to install the new control arms in the morning and hopefully going to the track next weekend. Hoping for a 11.xx pass

No plans to dyno it yet. I am not really concerned with the numbers its putting down, but I will somewhere down the road get a dyno tune after bigger mods. Just gotta figure out what route to go with the car. Next mods will prolly be X pipe, driveshaft, and im sure a new clutch will eventually be in my future.

Just want to let you know that 11.xx won't be possible with that current setup. Low 12's if you're really good but definitely not 11's. Glad you're happy with your tune.

we shall see. i ran a 12.3 with just the tune and tires and a shitty 1.9 60 ft cause of wheel hop. next time out i will have the cai, upper and lower control arms and relocation brackets. if i can get a good launch it will be close. The car feels noticeably stronger now than it did last time i ran it. Either way I am still impressed with what these cars can do with a few mods and wont be dissapointed with a 12.0-12.1. If i cant hit 11s with this setup when i add the driveshaft and new midpipe it should definitely put me there.

Last year some one with just a JDM CAI tune, and LCA's and Roush axle backs with the brembo package ran a 11.8 at englishtown

It's all about the driver

An 11 is definitely possible on a good air day for sure. If you get a clean pass with a 1.7 60 then you will get your time. Crap people have went 11's on a procal tune and tires.

Some people say for every tenth off the 60' equals two tenths off the quarter. If you took your 2.3 down to 1.7 that's 6 tenths. Buy the formula previously mentioned you would run an 11.8x.

What tune are you running anyway?

when i ran the 12.3 i had a 1.94 60ft which blows. I am pretty confident to hit a 1.7 60 ft this time out and that should put me mighty close if the rest of the run is smooth. I am anxious to get back out, but prolly wont be till next weekend.

I drove a stock 2013 5.0 and it ripped big time! Sounds like the tune woke it up further.

Coming from a lowly 3V guy:(

sonicblue,

Sounds like with some LCA's you'll be in the 11's if not knocking on the door! Great runs so far man, especially since you aren't too used to the car yet (being it's a '13).

I can think of one free mod that can only help your 60' out. Give our Bama Tuning Specialists a call @ 888.226.9764 and ask for our Hybrid Tune. Not that there is anything wrong with the Race tune, but the Hybrid tune has more low end power, similar to the Street tune. This will help you build up RPM after your launch and improve your 60' time. Plus, just like the Race tune, the Hybrid pull viciously up top, as well. It's an overall combination of the Street tune and Race tune!

I hope this helps you squeeze into the 11's. Good luck and post back with an update when you get back, too!

Definitely more potential in that 60', Sonic. At least a 12.1 run with a low 1.80.

I am going to install everything tomorrow night after work, just waiting on the upper control arm bracket which should be here tomorrow. If I dont have to come into work saturday i will be at the track all day to test the car out and see what I can run with the new set up
