okay i have a mild bolton GT with a vortech and a cxracing intercooler.. i wanna know will the 3.1 pulley push me into the 400s ? and will it be a big difference over the pulley i have now which is the stockj 3.60.

Yes. 3.6 makes like 8 psi or so give or take. With the 3.1 it will see 12-14 psi.

A buddy got bored with 8PSI and threw on a smaller pulley (12PSI) at his 1998 Mustang GT and blew up the motor. He was intercooled (Procharger).

yea i would have to agree this shopd tuned a 2v gt 9 months agoo and he is running on stock block and tranny 14 psi at around 475 hp and he beats on it..

yeah you should be able to run 12psi with a Intercooled Procharger with no problem, of course with a good tune.

Boost is addicting! Just keep your tune safe with a little less than normal timing and fuel a tad bit rich at WOT and you should be okay, and use good gas.

Unix is at 470 and I "hear" people being over 450rwhp and around 500rwhp.

lol not necessarily. jayc made 460 or 480 with a 150 shot and has been running with the shot like that for over 4 years.

i'm making 415whp with that pulley threw a cx ic kit....which makes about 12lbs at 6k threw the ic due to the pressure drop...
do it, but make sure your running slightly fat just to be safe...

12 psi will up the risk of popping the engine, even with a perfect tune. The rods cannot always take that much power. Its a hit or miss kind of thing with the "miss" costing $$$$$. Hopefully they didn't build your rods on a friday before a vacation!!
