I just had my lowering springs put in with new shocks/struts/cc plates last night. Should I take the stang to get an alignment tomorrow morning or should I drive her around a bit and give the springs a chance to settle in?

were the springs new? lots of people say wait for them to settle

i installed a used set myself and the steering was pretty off so i did it within 2 days

i did
springs
struts
cc plates
bumpsteer

if you do go now find a place that puts a warranty on the alignment, the shop that did mine does for 30 days so if anything is off you can come back and they will adjust it for free

i went to kal tire, not sure if you have those in the us or not

All the parts I put in were brand new. Nothing feels "off" though.

when i did mine the steering was way off, pretty sure its since i did the bumpsteer kit and might not have ligned it up perfectly

i would just get it done so you dont shred a set of tires unknowingly

the caster and camber is probably less than ideal if you just put in the cc plates, unless you knew how to set them

i sure as hell didnt lol

He may have gotten it pretty close but I know they definitely do an alignment.

Fer sure. There's a great place right down the street that does it for like $60 or $70.

Thanks for the info. :)

Better yet Phayze, see if you can find a place that does lifetime alignments. I think Firestone does them among others. This way you only have to pay once.

Sorry if I miss something (I skipped everything after the original comment). But you want the alignment ASAP. I pushed it off for months and it DESTROYED my tires :banghead

^^ Do this, it comes in handy. It is a bit more i think generally 1.5-2x the price, but if you plan on keeping the car, I'd definitely recommend finding somewhere that offers a lifetime alignment plan.

I did the IRS swap, didn't get an alignment. Did front struts and cut cobra springs. then waited like 3 weeks before I took it in for an alignment.
