What mods should I start off with?

Ok, I'm going to start putting some performance mods on my 06 Mustang GT in the spring. I don't have a huge budget, so I want to start off relitively low end on the price scale (Supercharger will happen next year probably, not this year). So what should I start off with?

What I am wanting to get for sure:
Cold Air Intake (which one would be best? Price wise and one I don't have to get tuned).
Gears (thinking of getting the 3.73 gears, do I need to get them installed by Ford so they don't void my warranty?).

Not sure what else to get other then that which would give me performance boosts and not make me broke.

I've seen a couple site have intake and tuner packages, basically a good idea to pick up one of them? (they go for around $599-$699 from what I've seen, which would be the ideal one to pick up?).

As fr regency. The supercharger is more of a dream then anything (it's a matter of me saving up $5000+ to buy one in the first place lol), so I'm looking more to immediate performance upgrades that will give me a power boost. Right now I am looking more towards the intake, tuner, and suspension (I also plan on getting new rims/tires this summer, as the ones I have I don't care for all that much). I'm just looking for other relatively cheap things to get for it.

How difficult is it to install by yourself? I'm not what you would call car savy (I know the basics but not as much as most people here it seems). And what are you looking to sell your for?
