What should be done maintenance-wise at my mileage?

I have a little over 36k miles on the car and it is due for an oil change. Besides changing the oil and the oil filter, what other maintenance should be done around this amount of miles? I am ready to do whatever is supposed to be done around the 40k mark. Thanks guys

.....and replace you cabin filter.
Change the fuel filter a lot more gas goes thru it now so check it out you may be suprised i know i was and i had 35k miles on my car. That supercharger needs a lot of fuel and so does that filter replace it NOW!!!!!!!
Well you know a lot of that advice is for folks who aren't under the hood as much as we are all the time. So checking hoses and belts and such I'm sure we do on a pretty regular basis. The items that I would look at would be any and all filters, most fluids should be checked for deterioration and replaced if necessary. Cooling system flush. I wouldn't necessarily change the rear end gear oil though. While I have the car in the air a complete visual of the entire car is in order. Check suspension bushings and things like that that you don't normally look at. Go over it like a fighter pilot does his ground inspection before a sortie.
Oh and don't forget to replace the glovebox gasket and check the muffler bearings.

Hey, don't take the glovebox gaskets lightly -- if you do and you can't get in there for accessories while on a hot date because it seized up, we don't want to hear about it! :D
grease ur muffler bearings and supercharger belt...

I could joke on you all day skinny boy :D
but in the end, you drive a gay car..
I can smell the burn all the way from Iowa!

Also, Ian, that all depends on how you drive your car. You should be checking your belt once every couple of weeks or couple hundred miles. Which ever comes first.
am i the only one who doesnt check **** every week? i didnt think that was necessary...i check **** once a month

then again, i only drive this car 500-1000 miles a month

This is no joke. Those things get dirty as sin.
I recently did a radiator flush, I am at 32k miles.

Everything was covered in the 2nd, 3rd and 5th posts. What the heck else do you want? A tuxedoed service mechanic? Sorry, cause I don't have a tux and you wouldn't want me anywhere near The Car Formerly Known as Barricade. :)

Did you try searching the forums? I know for a fact you're not the first to ask this question, Mickey. Just a suggestion. :yes :tomato
