There's a float switch on the inside of the radiator resorvoir tank, when the coolant level in the tank gets low it will illuminate to let you know you need to add coolant.

It was completely full haha. It turned off after a few. I think we accidentally sprayed something in the engine bay but idk.

Mine must not have that since it ran bone dry when the intake manifold cracked and never came on

The engine coolant is different according to the book that came with the car though?

I have the same light on. I'm glad you posted this because I wasn't sure what it meant. I did check my coolant though and the level is fine. Maybe mine has a bad sensor or something?

most floats go bad so i would keep an eye on your level and keep going on with your day till you can aford to fix it
