Ive been shooping the accessory sites and just am not impressed with any of the wheels i am seeing. alot of them look cool but are way too expensive.

however i like the price of 17" tires and was wondering how much you think a set of 4 stock wheels from someone who upgraded would cost so i can run 2 different types of tires without pulling em on and off.

Stock 17" take-offs run about $100 a piece for the 05+ GT's.

hmm and aftermarket 18s start about 200. plus another 50$ per tire = 150x4 = 600$ over a set of 17s is there a major performance difference?

btw 600$ is alot of ramen noodles

i don't believe so....i'd say just step up to 18s and pick the tires you like on a nice looking aftermarket wheel. Check out AmericanMuscle.com they have some decent mustang wheels and packages too.

kk i just hope i dont have to see my neighbor with them. he has an alloy wheel repair trailer; and he get lots of work ;( i heard some of the crappier alloys will be ruined if u curb once or drift off the shoulder.

most wide alloys will do that... the stockers are thinner and have more support to the edges... I had those guys fix a wheel for me before... they said that 85% of cars w/alloys have a bent rim and don't even know it
