OK, so I am a audiophile and have been doing installs since I was 13.

I have ran into one issue with our cars though! I am working on my girlfriends car right now which has been more than I bargained for. It's a 99 v6 base model.

When I run the power wire I got through the firewall fine, tucked it behind the kick panel fine, ran it along the running boards fine. THEN I take out the back seat to run the cable back to the trunk and I CANT get the 4gauge to fit under the panel beside the rear seats, and I cant find the pins to remove it. Has anyone done this before? or do i need to just run it under the carpet to the middle of the back seats and then run it under..

if I have to do that I cant install the amp on the side of the trunk like I wanted to.. =[

I'll go take some pictures

mine is run inside that panel...but i also had my back seats out for the custom install fo all my stuff....the pins for the side panels are behind the seats...but u really dont need to take em off...just needs some persuasion, but not too much, you'll break something haha

i ran mine through the panel on the driverside of the back.

I removed the panels in the trunk. get about a 3-4 foot piece of 12 solid wire. pushed through (either from the trunk or from under the back seat) the panel and into the back. i then taped the end of the power wire to the end of a 12 solid. and pull it through. it works the number of times i have done it

Use a fish to pull the wire through.

No, not the kind you eat, like a metal flexible fish. Poke it through from the other side, attach the wire, and pull it back through.

Or pull the rear seats and/or figure out how to get the panel off. It's not a huge deal to take the rear seats out if needed.

I think most of you misunderstood, I already had the seats removed its where the seat meets the panel at the bottum is where i wanted to run the wire, but I just ended up running a hole small enough in the carpet to hide the part of the wire that wasn't concealed
