The tube is part of your evap system. It feeds back into the engine compartment and hooks to a series of hoses that eventually end up in the back of your upper plenum.

No idea on the connector.

Down by the ac dryer there is a purge valve. I believe it goes to that, then connects to this red/black vacuum hose which you can see going to the eec valve then into the back of the plenum.

follow that red and black hose from the back of the plenum to it's destination.

i followed the red and black wire and got to a little round thing but there is alread a hose there. this hose comes from the same place though. errrrrrr.
