As the title states.. i have bnib frpp 4.10 gears and rear end rebuild kit from american muscle meant to fit 99-04 mustangs..and ive seen the part numbers are different 99-04 to 05-09 gear kits from ford racing.

Anyone know if these will fit my 07 gt? I originally got them for my 2001 gt bit sold it...its still an 8.8 rear end so i figure they should...

I would think they would fit but why don"t you call Ford Racing and ask them?

1994 8.8 = 8.8, 2001 8.8= 8.8, 2012 8.8= 8.8. As long as there a 8.8 gears will work, as well as diff if you have the right axle spline

As these guys mentioned, the 4.10's will fit with no problem. Now, I wouldn't worry about running 4.10's and a blower down the road. If you get a little seat practice and run a 28" drag radial in the back, you'll be glad you kept the 4.10s. It will be one insane machine!

If Im correct from what i have read. 1979 to current gt models, the 2011 to current mustang v6's all have the 8.8 rear differential's. So gears from a 1998 gt will go right into a 2011 5.0 gts differential.

i also have 4.10's and am running about 440ish tq and 500ish hp. yes i said "ish" because i don't remember the exact numbers and not because i'm guessing based on my mods and how much boost i have.

you'll love the 4.10's especially if you go with a centri sc'er. if you get a turbo you'll want the higher ratio (3.55's) for the track.

Id be looking into centri blowers mainly cuz they are easier on the wallet/ less work to install. ( vortech v3)

What. Does ur car run in the 1/4 or 1/8 mile... just curious

Last time out I was just shy (couple of tenths) of getting into the 11's with so so track prep. I think my best run that night was 12.18. Not the best 60' times, 1.6 sec, but where I'm losing it is when my auto tranny shifts into second. I have to pedal it pretty good because my Level 10 tranny shifts so hard the tires cut loose. It is just hard to time the automatic shift with pedal input to keep the tires planted. I've been thinking about manually shifting it so I can time my throttle inputs with the gear change. This is all on DOT tires. I'm going to get a set of 29' slicks to try and get into the 11's.
