everything is pretty much the same on the 5.4 as the 4.6 except the deck height. the heads are identical provided they are both PI heads or non PI heads.

if they are PI heads going on the a car that had the same PI heads, then no he wont. if they are non PI head going on to a car that had PI heads he will lose power. If they are PI heads going onto a car that had non PI heads then he will gain power. and finally, if they are non PI heads going onto a car that started as having non PI heads that he will stay the same.

cams are all the same.

the truck has a longer stroke and a different intake and makes more torque.

well the f150 makes its power down low because of the long runner intake. it makes about 300 ft/lbs outta the box

a 4.6 has the same length stroke as a ........ ....... 4.6
