it wont be ****ed up. Its just some peeps opinions on the fitment look. Some say stock hoods dont look good with the cobra bumper but i think mine looks good. I think the cobra bumper is shorter that the gt hood. Not COMPLETELY sure though. Its just an opinion on the look.
will a terminator hood work?
i want a new hood, found a terminator hood on blueovalindustries.com for 299. will it bolt directly on my car, or will it be something ****ed up with the bumper??

yeah it should fit fine! you shouldnt have any issues.
im talking the other way around tho. the hood. what would the fitment be like. i really like the hood, but im concerned itll look like ****....anyone have pics??
personal preference man. i like those hoods alot myself and would have put one on my car had i not went with the 3.5 cowl hood.
hell yea. cowls look sick too. just dont see too many gts with the cobra hood. ya dig??
i feel ya, i have only seen a couple myself period. but i really do like those hoods so i say go for it man and be happy with it cuz you know you will.

I have a OEM 03 Cobra hood on my Roush. The only thing that I don't like about it, is how the GT bumper doesn't come all the way up to meet the hood. In the pic you can really see what I'm talking about, Really the only way you see it, is if you get down and look at it level like this pic was taken at, but still drives me crazy. Its like Baker said its like the cobra hood is a bit sorter??
As for it fitting, I know I didn't have any issues with the OEM hood Cobra hood.

I looked at that hood for $299. I don't know..I try to stay away from non OEM body parts, but that's just me. Plus it looks like you will have to cut the holes out for the vents. For $300.00 you could just but a OEM cobra hood and know that it will fit with out issues.

It works. most wont even notice the difference.
try lowering your hood bumpers and it should close that gap. Not so uch that your hood shaks but try to play with it. The cobra hoods have the same fitment and dimensions as the GT so there should be no issues at all.
yes that is the hood.....i was looking at the kaenen hood too, im wondering if itll have the gap like an oem will. i honestly think it looks fine, but if i were showing off my car and someone pointed it out id be pissed off lolI looked at that hood for $299. The two pillar pieces on the cobra bumper near the grille are slightly taller than the pillars on the GT bumper. There for you'll have the gap thats shown in the pictures above. When combing cobra bumper and GT hood you have to either: cut the tops of the pillars off, push them back and redrill the holes or fiddle with your latch assembly to make it fit (what I did).
I tried that also, it made my hood sit lower than the fenders. I'm just going to stick a 03/04 Cobra bumper on it and call it a day.
let us know which hood you go with cause i'm thinking of getting one too...let us know how much work is needed for the hood to fit right too if you don't mind

do you know anyone that has bought a hood from either company...and are either one any good...i know everyone says get a cervini...but i thought i would ask too
I dont know anyone who has bought that hood from them. But alot of people buy the supercharger kits and exhaust systems from them.
but I hear good things about abcexlusive though. check out there site they show pics of the hood and latch. I believe they give a really nice warranty with it as well.

i have that exact hood from them.... it works best with a cobra bumper. the hoods kinda flimsy thought, not sure i'm 100% happy with it.
