The two pillar pieces on the cobra bumper near the grille are slightly taller than the pillars on the GT bumper. There for you'll have the gap thats shown in the pictures above. When combing cobra bumper and GT hood you have to either: cut the tops of the pillars off, push them back and redrill the holes or fiddle with your latch assembly to make it fit (what I did).
