i need a wiring harness for my car but i dont know what one to get. i dont have the mach system or anything. just the basic radio system with cd player and radio. its a 99 v6 mustang. what one do i need?

Two ways to do it. One is a metra 70-5511. It will keep the factory amp and is azzed-out easy. Two is to buy the 70-5602 harness which will bypass the factory amp alltogether. The amp is located in the botom of the center stack and it is easier to unplug the connector with it unbolted. Option 2 will sound better (the factory amp is crap, really) but is a little more difficult to install. Both harnesses should be available at your local car stereo shop.
