I'm interested in an old or broken alternator for my 2002 GT, if anyone has one laying around.

I really just want the casing to try and paint or polish it and then swap my internals from my alternator. Or If you have a broken one I can practice my surgery skills and dissect it so I have some practice before I kill mine.

Let me know either through PM or a comment.

Mike.

My auto teacher told me to not rebuild a alternator cause robots put them together with such tight tolerences, I picked a 130amp one from American muscle for 139 I believe

I'm not rebuilding it haha. I mean I have patience and all but I am just going to change the external case. I guess it's not such a big deal - I read a post about powdercoating or painting the case. After all they do make chrome colored powder ;)
