Ziza Install

Everytime a get a performance mod I get a little bling for my honey. It helps my car's "chi" or balance. Anyways a couple of install pics and directions, though it's pretty simple. I ordered these of ebay from Ziza Lighting to offset my plum purple torque thingy I got for my tranny.

Before

After

Now for the install part:

First remove the tire and front wheel well lining. I don't think you really have to take it all the way off to get to the bumper, but I did it so the pics would come out nice. It's held on by 3 or 4 sheet metal screws and some plastic push type panel fasteners.

Remove the bulbs with a quarter turn to the left and remove the signal lamp. The only things holding on the front signal lamp is a tab inserted in a slot on the far side and the 2 white pins on the left. Squeeze the 2 white pins as you lift the signal lamp away from the bumber. That little black thing stickin' up is just an alignment pin. Once it's clear of the pins, pull it back towards you disengaging the tab on the far side.

As you can see here, the replacement piece is a perfect match with the factory piece including the texturing on the side marker. Just slide the tab into the slot and press it down over the white pins. I couldn't get the tab to slide in on the passenger side so I had to Dremel down the tab just a bit to get it to slide in properly.

Since I went with the clear lens I had to get the stealth bulbs. They look chrome when there off and light up amber. I can't stand clear lenses with yellow bulbs.

Test the operation of the lights before buttoning everything back up and your done.

Except for the minor adjustment that I had to make to the passenger side piece, I thought that these were a great product for the price. I would suggest this brand for anyone who is looking to change these up.

nice lights and bulbs.

easier way: turn the wheel all the way to one side. pull out fender cover a little bit. replace light

Yeah I know but then I couldn't take these nice install pics and make this a tech thread.
Well good job on the tech thread then!:)
Thanks for the write up! I guess I will get some smoked one's. And where can you get the stealth bulbs?
Thanks Ryan

I don't run the chrome stealth bulbs anymore.

They seriously decrease the amount of brightness the turn signals make...I think they are not as safe.

I had them on my motorcycle, and I ditched them for LED lights.

My compromise is to run the ambers in clears instead when not running LED's.
I jsut ordered some Ziza's myself.

By the way, sweet car! I love that silver with the hood pins.

Now fix those license plate holes! :D

Thanks for the link for the bumper plugs. I have been wanting to get rid of those for a while. I thought about just leaving them till I get my car painted and have them filled, but those plugs look like a quick fix until then.
Nice !! I can't stand that ugly ass yellow .. I'm kind of surprised you laid all of that chit on your hood though.

Placed carefully for the photos, won't do any harm. The lights are extremely light in weight, almost cheap.
Ryan,
If you look at the big bulb hanging there. See that little white ring on the end? I bet there is supposed to be something similar on the small bulb and that's the part that's missing and making it feel loose.

Henderson actually. I live off Sunset and 95, across the wash from that Central Christian mega church and across the freeway from Sunset Station. I work up in Green Valley down the street from GVR.
Nice install thread ... definitely works for your paint scheme.
