I wouldn't be mad if it didn't seem to happen every time I order something.

Well I ordered my springs but only received the rear ones. Sucks about your shipping hassle. I would raise hell if they wouldn't replace them. Have you talked to whoever you bought them from? They might have more leverage on their part maybe? I always try to get them shipped thru ups or fedex. USPS just sucks

They told him that the buyer, me, has to file a claim and then USPS does whatever in the **** they need to do to at least try and find it.

Day 3. This drive is already getting old. 3hrs round trip. This is eating into my free time something major. Wake up at 1030 am. Do whatever til 1:15pm. Hit the road. Work 3pm-1am. Get home at 230. Go to bed at 4. Repeat. Time to buckle down and stop being lazy so I can finish up the remodel on the house to get it on the market.

Rolled 84k tonight. I'll roll 85k by next Thursday thanks to some additional weekend driving coming up.

On the bright side, the new job is pretty sweet. Much better pay and a great benefits package, which my previous job didn't even offer. New place is also an awesome company with great people. Can't say the same about my last employer.

I can't imagine that drive. We have some guys here that do it tho. Get a call, drive an hour and a half to work, get on a train for12 hours, sit in a hotel, another 12 hour train back, then an hour and a half drive home.
Nope, i barely like my 20 minute drive to the yard lol

Just got back from dropping mine off at dealership to fix rear end noise. Hopefully it stays fixed.

Are you a conductor? I Looked into that as CSX had about 6 openings near me but then I read company reviews and was like :whackylol:. So I stuck with repairing broken aircraft.

i feel your pain man i have a 2 hr round trip to school everyday...good thing is i only i will be done in the summer with my degree

I'm going to guesstimate 1.25-1.5 inches in the front and an inch in the rear. They are the newer frpp Cobra Jet Springs.

Yup! Hoping to become an engineer within the year. I got on with BNSF. I enjoy it. My dad has been out there for 40+ years, and his dad worked for the railroad, and his dad, so i was basically destined to work for the railroad eventually lol.

One things for certain. I'm ditching this stock boot and getting the Leather 401a boot.

I threw the mgw knob on and that stock boot just looks bad. at the top where it's to big in dia
