I'm tired of filling my car with tools & tying my slicks to the roll cage when I go to the track. I just picked this up pretty cheap. It needs work; but it's coming along well....

I drove to Provo Utah, about an hour south of North Salt Lake City. I wish I could afford what the guy had in his garage....



I was spotted on the way home....



Before the work has begun....



The lid needed some reinforcing & a way to stay sealed up.....



New tires & some spun aluminum covers.... The Chevy Cavalier hub caps had to go...



And more pictures to follow as I keep working on it....

Update... painted it in the same 3R medium shadow blue as the car.... Now to paint the oxford white stripe to match the car... New wiring & led tail lights added....

finished it just in time before my trip....






Drove down to Southern California for a couple weeks, attended Fab. Fords Forever at Knott's Berry Farm, drag raced the car as pictured the following Saturday, & drove home the next day.... 1.500 miles with no problems... I was pretty happy with the 18mpg coming back home; up hill all the way with a headwind as well....
