I think most people go wit street tires up front but Nitto has road race tires same style as the dr just a stiffer side wall if u wanted to put those up front. When inflated properly the dr handle fairly well, I emailed nittos about theirs.

I ran Drag radials with two spare tires up front..:)

Cheap i know, but if i hadn't broke it would have worked... It was a stupid idea...That was before i learned a little about the car

Friend of mine had the 315 sumitomos on his deep dish 17s and when those were done, went with 315 nitto drag radials. he swears the nittos hook better in the dry (obviously) and the wet compared to the sumitomos!

And I don't think the sumitomo's lasted very long either.

I have the same tires, andres. It takes a lot of tweaking with pressure and launch to get em' to hook well, though. I'm pretty sure you'll notice a definite difference between the Nittos and the Sumis.

My $.02.

I run the nitto 555 street tire and the are very streetable in the rain, the DRs have the same tread profile so u should be fine.
The DRs wont last as long though... They're a softer compound so they hook better on dry... Softer compounds also wear faster. Its a comprimise basically.
