ive been toying with the idea of selling my car to buy a Mach 1 or an 03-04 cobra. Its a 2000 Gt with around 85,000 miles Its red with brown leather interior and pretty much every option avaliable at that time. It has the following mods. ford 'b' springs, weld in flowmasters, 4.10's, rebuilt diff with 03-04 cobra carbon fiber clutches, sct x3, 75mm thorttle body and upper plenum, jlt cai. All fluids changed with royal purple. Its in pretty good condition. Just seeing what you guys think its worth.

Probably not that much. I bought a 2000 GT with 69,000 mile almost two years ago for $10,000. For resale, mods are a curse not a blessing. The more horsepower we run, the harder they think we run our cars. They are probably right. I have heard that to calculate a fair market price that you need to take the Kelly Blue Book price and an 25% of the cost of your mods.

Don't be surprised is the buyers ask for compression tests, etc.

I would say 6-8K depending on the condition of the car and buyer. I personally would ask 8/OBO. But that is still a little high.

Depending on where you are located I'd have to agree with the $6k to $8k numbers (KBB says $6950 private sale if it were here in Florida).

Also, as has been said, the mods can turn off a lot of buyers--with the right buyer they can add some value--but finding that buyer with $8k+ to spend can be tough...

ill say 20k :D

dont want the guy to feel that bad .
