no you can do it but it wont be too safe lol but i guess you could get a chip to change tunes on the fly, each setting for a certain amount of boost but i would imagine to be able to run 1000 or 800 w.e rwhp youd need a crazy fuel system and when the boost isnt high youd run really rich but im not positive im sure other people will give some feedback

yea i know bout the fuel system thing

im not looking for really 1000 rwhp (just a motor rated that high to be on the safe side)

isnt like 800rwhp and a bucnh of other mods what it takes to be in the 9s?
 
im not sure on the numbers but you could have 500rwhp with a really good suspension setup and run 9s...or mayb 600rwhp dont hold me to that im not positive on the numbers but suspension is a BIG DEAL. why dont you just go to the track and practice because it seems like you prob wont be able to handle that much power right now

yea i know...i plan on practicing first and then going like every other week

and how much am i gonna spend on completle suspesnion

and i dont wanna take away from daily driving and handling on turns and ****
 
its gonna be ALOT. and if you want 800rwhp and a suspension to handle that i dont see it being a comfortable DD. plus with a transmission to handle that power i dont see it either. theres so much more to think off then alot of HP
 
crawl... walk... then run... I guess you could do multiple tunes, but compensating for the difference in power levels would be interesting. Like 03TropicGt said you dont have to have 1000hp to get around 9sec. I would work on your driver mod first.

driver mod is the most important thing you can ever have.

i just dont see a 9sec DD being that fun. 12s and maybe even 11s yea but anything past that i just see a little extreme as a DD for me at least
 
plus once you get up there in the 6,7,800rwhp mark you gotta run dual fuel pumps and boosta pumps and **** you probly know. you would be sitting at like 7mpg

for me i think that a motor that can handle 600 rwhp is plenty.flike forging it, heads, cams, tune. then turbos or a KB. kuz i'm only 17, and i drive my car every single day like 30 or 40 miles.
 
You have got to be shittin me man...you have no idea what youre even talking about. I wish acmillr would give you a ride since youre in florida, you would cry with the power he has. you dont know understand what youre talkin about man.
 
throw a nice shot of nitrous on your car, get a tune and then go for a nice little wot run. youll **** your pants when you feel all that torque!!!:D trust me anything over 400 ft lbs of torque at the wheels is quite exciting lol:yes
 
no he will wrap it around a tree, im sorry man i may be comin off as a dick but ive seen some bad things happen when people have more power than they can handle
very true, im just trying to give the feedback he asked for but you are right. honestly some 4:10s alone will probably make you **** yourself. i know i did back before i wasnt really into modding cars. now i just thrive for it:D

i was trying to ask how much that is gonna cost me

i mean i guess i dont really need a TT and a Whipple or something can techncially get me to 600 rite

and 600 with suspesnion and a driver mod can give me a 9sec gt?
 
are the 4.10's really that kool? i've got the mods in my sig and i'm plannin on doin gears and an Al shaft in the summer and i cant wait!
i dont have them in my car but ive driven many cars before and its very fun lol. i plan on do 3.73s and spray eventually just because i like the feel better and you can stay in the power band longer than 4.10s. but thats just how I like it everyone has their on opioion
