did you get the wheels????
No I dont have the funds for the wheels at this time, but I am going to get all the parts here, painted and ready before I do it, Itll all go on at once, to include the silver COBRA-R wheels.

This will prolly be completed around Christmas time this year.

All I gotta say is, if your gonna do it. DO IT RIGHT! Don't half ass it with different parts or its just gonna be a mutt. Do everything including hood, exhaust, rims, color.
Right, thats my thoughts exactly....

Only thing is I likethe exhaust going to the rear, so I think I will leave that alone for now. The rest is going as planned, and as soon as I ge tthe money, I should be able to ge the motor up to snuff... I have all the Part numbers of what I will need to build it right, all from Ford Racing.

Be some time to save up the dough though.

thats awesome man, i would kill for that hood lol
Thanks

I like it so far, looks like all the engine mods I got planned will fit under it and it uses the stock hood placement hardware... so no holes for posts and stuff... Ill get a pic tonight. I'm not going to install it till it all matches, same Red as the car is now so itll be easy.

i thought the heat extractor vents were the upward scoops on the top of the hood in the back, or is that just a design?
I did some research, and even on the original 2000 COBRA R those are cosmetic. The original was a huge vent across the back of the hood where mine is only two small ones.

I wanted the SVO hood with the functional scoop, but the only place I could find it was not able to get it to me, so I went with this one. It will complete the look better I think.

...as it is there are vents on the bottom in the engine compartment and the speed youre travelling creates the vacuum to pull the air out of the rear vents and it works the same way.

I attached a picture of the Ford Racing Version, it was 2oo dollars more than mine. There are a few differences, and it wont be exactly the same, but it looks very close and Im happy with it.
