Lucky you. I've been to Vegas 3 times and took an L every time lol

Both times I've been I've walked away with more than I started with. I don't gamble a lot though. Usually a hundred or two ahead. Enough to cover eating out a couple times at least! I just stick to Craps and Blackjack.

ditto. I have a friend that won 22K a little over a year ago. I still have the video of the cash...

And I thought I was doing good at the local Legions winning a hundred or so a night on slots... ****.

I saw a lady feed 14 $100 bills in a slot saturday. I about ****ing choked.

Id poop myself if I won that much. I get excited when I turn a $20 into $100 or so lol

Quick car buying info for you guys. As I've stated before I went through LightStream.com to get my car loan for the VDub. I just found out what I'm getting back on taxes and took that same amount out of savings and put that toward my car loan, then putting my tax return into savings when it arrives to replentish that. Anyway, LightStream allows you to re-amortize your loan once you pay it down beyond its normal schedule. This allowed me to cut my payment more than half... Pretty cool stuff. Figured y'all might wanna go this route for your next purchase.

That's pretty cool Kevin, I've never heard of that. I'm hoping to get a stainless steel clutch line today, maybe install it tonight. Plan on going to the track a lot this year so I figured I might as well upgrade it.

Does anyone on here think loud cars are unprofessional?

Well I got rid of the car yesterday. Carmax came in clutch. KBB trade in was like 19.5k. So I was a bit nervous. They ended up giving me $21.5k. So I took the offer and signed the paperwork, and paid the difference.

The CEL came on on my way down there lol. But apparently they didn't care.

Still can't figure out my sticking brake issue. The left rear brake gets hot. I'll ctrl+v my SVTP post: My rear left caliper is sticking ever so slightly and I'm about out of ideas as to what to do. Originally I noticed the left wheel getting hot and the temp of the rotor was much higher than the right side. Pulled the caliper, noticed a seized slide. Replaced the caliper and bracket. Still getting hot. Investigated more and noticed the park brake bracket wasn't returning fully due to a weak spring on the new caliper. Swapped the return spring out with the OEM spring and slightly adjusted the cable. Now the parkbrake fully returns but the left side is still getting hotter. Figured maybe the brake line was internally damaged and holding pressure. Replaced the lines with braided stainless lines which seemed to help slightly but now the left side is still staying 50-75* hotter than the right whereas my Brembos are only 5-7* apart in temps. Already bled the new caliper per the special FSM method. Already ensured the slots were aligned with the rivet on the pads. I did noticed that the left axle has a TON of side to side/in & out play (pull in/push out on the hub). I wonder if the axle is trying to pull outwards as I'm driving putting pressure on the outer pad causing it to get hot? I did noticed the outer pad had less material than the inner. I'm going to swap out with the differential I purchased before Christmas (which has significantly less slop) next weekend. If that doesn't fix it I guess I'm going to have to take it to the dealership. Any ideas?

Very nice. Just sent you a FB request since I know your first name thanks to Brendan lol. I'm thinking about using them for a home improvement loan this summer. I NEED a new roof and have been waiting out for a hail storm as long as I can. While I'm at it I want to replace the flooring. I can do the vinyl in the kitchen/laundry myself but I've never done carpet so I'll have someone else do it. After that I'll have changed something about every single square inch of the interior of the house since I've bought it. lol I think I could make an easy $10k if I decided to sell it mostly thanks to cheap and easy upgrades (paint, lawn care, etc)

Make sure to have a pair of long 90* needle nose.

What's the profession? I think it kinda of depends. If you're a realtor and carrying people around all day then yes. (If you have a sedan like an SS or a Taurus SHO). Really depends on the profession IMO.

Congrats man. Sometimes they want to screw you over, sometimes they don't. They quoted me $3600 for my 02 GT when I sold it back in 2011, very nice car with 93k miles on it. I said no thanks and sold it for $7250 the next day. lol

Yes/no, don't go in wide ass open revving the hell out of your car, drive respectable and know others are working and you're good. Unless your car is just loud as **** just idling.

cold starts are definitely loud.

so someone broke into my car and stole $400 that had been sitting in my glove compartment for 2 days....

anyone want some borla s-types?

Oh ****, sorry to hear that. Did you leave in unlocked, or did they break the glass? Or something else? I'm VERY weary about leaving my car or truck somewhere unattended. I lock it even going into the gas station.

Lesson learned. See I always lock my car as well... or at least i thought so. It was under the carport at my house at school and it was perfectly fine. I either left it unlocked or they broke into it via air wedge or something. Took the money and an 8 year old navigation system.

That is ****ed up. Sorry to hear bro.
