Hey all, I'm getting ready to install a 2.60 pully and idler on my stock '12 gt500. I was going to order a SCT/tunes from VMP but noticed American Muscle also can tune gt500s through Bama. Does any one else have tunes from BAMA on a similar set up. The price is alot less than VMP so that's why the debate. Or is it u get what u pay for type of thing?

Lund or AED. It is absolutely a get what you pay for thing. Bama tunes are at the bottom of the totem pole.

Thanks for the feed back . I've had a 100 nitrous shot on my 2v with a Bama tune it did ok. But got a Dyno tune when I went to 150. With this gt500 I really don't want bottom of the barrel

Agree 100%. I strongly prefer AED but you can't go wrong with Lund either. No way in hell would there ever be another Bama tune on my car. I'd return it to stock before risking it.
2v's are a lot simpler to tune than something more complete like a Coyote or GT500.

Yup I do remember when I was having my 2v dynoed that the tuner said the bama tune was off on the tune by quite a bit in his opinion. I am gonna go with VMP I think. Very good reviews from other gt500 owners. Plus I'm gonna get the Ngauge tuner. Looks like a really nice unit
