What are some really good heads for the 99-04 GT's? I'd like to purchase some in the near future. I was thinking of livernois motorsports but id like to know what other companies make great heads. Dont even mention patriot performance bc I wont put that crap on my car.

fox lake does great porting as well

all 4.6 heads are ford, its just who does the porting that makes a difference. if i were to have someone do a set for me i would look into foxlake or someone like that.

So far it looks like Livernoise and MMR do the best porting. Fox Lake had some nice heads, but Livernoise still outflows them. Im not sure what the flow specs are on the MMR heads so Im probably going to have to contact them to get that information.

Remember the bigger the flow numbers doesnt always mean bigger horsepower number, you need to find out whats right for your combo.

Could not agree with you more. People get to wrapped up in flow #'s. I have had heads that flowed less than others make more power.
Also i have used Patriots on several occasions with no issues. Just saying:tomato

yes, Jason is still doing work out of his garage. apparently, he had some issues with his business partner and that's what ended up causing the shop to go under. i think Jason also works as a tech at Beach Ford or something like that...Steen Racing is out of business, but jason steen himself is still around doing work. notice i didn't say steen racing in my original statement.

Thanks for the info guys. Im really a noob when it comes to what heads and cams are right for my car. I plan on adding nitrous so that is a big factor. I just want some good heads and cams that will work good with that setup but still want to make some decent numbers NA. I was thinking about some hitech stage 2 cams and some mmr or livernois heads but im really unsure. How can I figure out what heads and cams will work best for my application?
