dragnracing schooled me on nitrous ans from my understanding wot swtich and window switch will keep you safe if you dont spray below 3500 and past 5800 and dont shoot more than your bottom end will handle...and make sure to adjust your timing accordingly

:yes

I ran a 100 shot untuned. I think a tune is best but you won't need anything but colder plugs for a 75 shot. Above 125 is a pump, tune, and plugs. But the 150 is getting close on the limits.

ok. needed on an automatic?

only allows the nitrous to spray between the rpm range you set
+1 never knew that i thought it just replaced the cup holder switches

are you planning on a wet or dry shot. I ran a 100 shot wet kit for 6 years untuned with no issues. It is best to atleast put it on the dyno and check the a/f. I had my window switch set at 3k-6k and ran NGK TR6 plugs gapped at .035". I know people that run a 150 shot on a stock motor with a tune and have had great sussecc, but with anything, the more you push it, the bigger the risk you take.

i run 125 tuned myself with a sct hand held been down the 8th probably 75 times no problems 4 1/4 mile passes
not to hijack the thread... but nice #'s what mods do you have

yeah you can spray below a 100 shot, but it ell the newbs to nitrous to not spray below 3400. its just a little extra safety there and hoestly why do you need to spray below that? your never gonna be below that rpm range while your racing?

spray the 150 shot above 3000rpms and youll be golden.

hell i saw a guy at thunder valley spray a STOCK pi motor with a 200 shot and it was fine, tranny let go though,i've been running a 100 shot with a mail tune for a bit with bigger pump TR6 plugs and a window switch. all is well. just start small to get use to it.
